Midterm Project

Traditional/Classic

traditional

It would mainly consist of complementary colors of orange and blue.  The left side border would have hyperlink text which would go to the next page, or a table of contents page that goes any where on the page.  The right side border would have blue color for the side color.  The title or header would consist mostly of orange color and would have Verdana font.  Below that would have a second header that would describe the page with the title, and the body paragraphs would use Verdana font style for simple text.
At the bottom of the page would be a row of navigation buttons that would be made up of blue and orange colors.  Some will go to other subjects, or to external sites and links.   The targeted audience for the site is teenagers and adults since it uses basic colors.
The project was mostly design with fireworks and there were not many challenges to this since the design was basic.  It took about two hours to rough sketch and designing it in fireworks.  The final compression format was gif because it only consisted of two colors orange and blue, and it would load in within quicker than jpeg just in one second to appear.  The difference between comtemporary and traditional is that comtemporary is going out of the boundaries some to make something that looks more interesting.  Traditional is a basic design that looks simple, and easy to work with.  It mostly works with squares, or on grid that does not get out of shape.  Which the traditional/classic design page is mostly created with squares for the design to make look like a simple web page.  The modern page is made of circles and arcs to grab some attention to want to be looked at.
